FIRECLAP® (Tank Outlet)

Description
Fireclap® is a swing check valve equipped with a fail-safe system. It is used normally open and in the reverse flow direction.

Safety function
Normally-open safety equipment with an automatic quick-closing device in case of fire.

Application
Designed for tank storage of hydrocarbons and other flammable liquids, installed at the tank outlet.

Purpose
To contain the fluid inside the tank so it does not feed the fire.

FEEDERCLAP® (Tank Inlet)

Description
Feederclap® is a swing check valve equipped with a fail-safe system. It is used normally closed and in the normal flow direction.

Safety function
Safety equipment for the tank inlet. It can be manually locked in the open position using a lever.

Application / Purpose
When installed on tank-filling piping, its function is the same as Fireclap®: to prevent the tank contents from feeding a fire.
