Press Release
Momenta steps up its focus on the energy and industrial markets with an acquisition in Norway and a new establishment in Denmark

Momenta is the market leader in chemical injection, pumps and instrumentation, delivering solutions to customers in oil & gas, industrial & marine, the process industry and renewables. The company is now expanding by acquiring a majority shareholding in Ellingsen Indutech AS, while also establishing a Danish subsidiary, Momenta ApS.
The acquisition and new establishment will give the Momenta Group a broader range of products and services and a stronger platform for continued growth. For customers, this will mean better overall pricing, greater product availability, and improved delivery reliability and quality. “This is a clear strategic move that strengthens the Group for further growth. By combining an acquisition with establishing a presence in Denmark, we are building stronger Nordic reach and execution capability – and will be even better positioned to deliver across the markets we serve,” says Morten Ree, CEO of Momenta AS.
Indutech to continue
with the same strategy
Ellingsen Indutech AS will change its name to Indutech AS and become a subsidiary of Momenta AS. The company will continue to operate with the same strategy and existing employees. “Customers will experience continuity – business as usual – while we gain the capacity to deliver more. The companies will continue with the same people and strategy, but with cross-company synergies that provide greater flexibility, higher quality and the ability to take on larger assignments,” says Ree.
Establishing Momenta ApS in Esbjerg
Momenta is also establishing Momenta ApS, a newly formed subsidiary of Momenta AS, with offices in Esbjerg. The company will focus on projects across several markets and will develop sales of instrumentation products and pump systems.
What the expansion means for the market
The expansion will help to deliver:
- increased product range and availability
- stronger supplier capacity and greater flexibility
- improved quality in deliveries
- increased competitiveness and a clearer supplier role
- the ability to take on larger contracts and develop growth in new markets
